Fun and easy to make decorative mirrors!

This is a tutorial for some fun and funky mirrors.  I will show you the basic steps but use your own creativity and change up anything that you want.  These are very unique and fun to make as well.  You will get many compliments.

What you will need:

Mirror or unfinished wooden picture frame
Fine paintbrush
Medium to large paintbrush
Small stencil brush
Acrylic paint (Your choice of color)
Brush on Glitter paint (Your choice of color)
Texture paint (Your choice of color)
Stencil (your choice)

I started with an unfinished wooden frame square mirror that I got at a craft store.  The first step is just to paint the frame a solid color.  I painted two frames one with folkart acrylic paint color: 2248 turner pink and one with the same paint but in the color: 2225 Ocean Cruise.  After the frames are dry the next step is to use a stencil that you have found with a pattern you like.  I love the patterns with the swirls so that is what I went with. Lay out the stencil where you want it on the frame and use the texture paint to go over the stencil.  For the pink frame I used folkart texture paint color: 2864 red and for the blue frame I used the same brand color:2868 Black.  After the texture paint is dry I used folkart gems glitter paint color:14k gold.  I used my fine paintbrush to add decorative sparkles to the textured areas of the frame.  When the glitter dries you probably want to spray the frames with a type of finish spray.  I used plastercraft acrylic gloss finish spray.  When it's all dry you can hang these up and you're all done!  You can choose which colors you want to use on your frames or you can use the examples I gave you.  If you get several small frames you can paint them in multiple colors and then hang them together.  They are very eye catching!  I hope you enjoyed Cutorials first tutorial!
